Yeah boi - I like akai, i had their apc40 to control FL studio using a tascam 16x08 for 2 digital drum sets, 3 electric keyboards, 3 mics and i think we still has some inputs left over! Thats where i think those things really shine - as a controller - which is what it is - so i guess what im saying is - those things do what they do really well! in FL you can assign all those keys, even the keyboard keys, as triggers for effects and gates. Performance mode allows for a lot of really cool things as well. Finally, its a controller, so if you play any space ship games you now have a thrust controller along with all your weapons. Gnice. My buddy dropped the cable off like Santa. Works with bandlab, will give this a go, but I'd like to use the Akai software on Android, but not sure if that's possible
Well, technically it's a midi controller, but my bestie just moved back to the state, and basically gave it to me. Now I just need usb-b to usb-c.
Probably can only use it on bandlab, but I might be able to rig around it with a tablet and my shitty android.
Anyone with jail break suggestions are welcome

What do you need to jailbreak?
Well I'm not sure if it'll only be able to work with bandlab on Android, like the Akai software won't be compatible, but others might?
I recently learned of the DAW term. Digital Audio Workstation software. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_audio_workstation
I haven't begun investigating what I might like to use someday. Most likely whatever is FLOSS.
Mann, me and my crew used to have so much gear. Think imma get a cheap laptop to fully unlock this little beast
